Dr. Sidhu is a specialist in orthopaedic surgery with his focus of treatment being Adult Reconstruction hip and knee surgery. His specific interests include:
Dr. Sidhu considers himself a native of Central California. His family immigrated from India to Turlock, CA in 1995 and have since relocated to Elk Grove. He received his undergraduate degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at UC Davis. He attended medical school at Touro University in Vallejo, CA and subsequently did his orthopaedic residency training at Pinnacle Health Systems in Pennsylvania. There he developed a special interest in adult reconstruction and trauma. He completed an additional year of specialized training as an adult reconstruction fellow and a trauma fellow at University of Minnesota, Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN. He is proud to call Dr. Scott Marston and Dr. Peter Cole his mentors.
Dr. Sidhu is a member of American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAKHS), American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and is a board-eligible diplomate of American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (AOBOS).
Dr. Sidhu strongly believes in being a patient advocate and providing compassionate care to all of his patients. He believes best clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction are obtained by educating patients about their condition and its treatments, and by ensuring that they are an integral part of the decision-making regarding their operative/nonoperative care. He is very happy to be back home and is looking forward to providing orthopaedic care to the community.
