Pratik Gandhi, DO is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a focus on interventional pain management and interventional spine procedures. Dr. Gandhi firmly believes in a full body approach for management of pain disorders and treating pain using a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach including physical therapy, medications and interventional procedures.
Dr. Gandhi spent his entire life in the New York/New Jersey area and grew up a die-hard New York Giants fan. He graduated with honors from Rutgers University, the state university of New Jersey, with a B.A. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. He attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. Shortly after graduating medical school, he began his internship at North Shore Long Island Jewish – Plainview Hospital in Long Island, NY where he obtained valuable experience in family medicine, cardiology, and internal medicine. He went on to complete his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the prestigious Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation at New York University. He completed additional training in interventional spine and pain management at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA.
Dr. Gandhi is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Dr. Gandhi strongly believes in treating a patient from head to toe and providing thorough, compassionate care to all his patients. He holds a true belief that a physician-patient relationship will only grow with proper education on a patient’s condition and giving patients the opportunity to be a part of their overall care including decision-making. Although Dr. Gandhi has spent most of his life on the east coast, he is ready to embark on his new endeavor on the west coast and looks forward to providing care to his new home and community.
